Introduces a New Line of Value Priced Software for the Mainstream Gaming Market—OuterBound

Adding to its Existing
Product Line, eGames Reaches out to the Vast Market of the Mainstream Gamers
With a New and Unique Product Line

LANGHORNE, PA, August 10, 2001– eGames Inc. (OTCBB:
EGAM) announced today the introduction of an exciting new product line to be
published under the brand name OuterBound Games.  Building on past successes, a
strong foundation in the value-priced gaming market and an expertise in PC
gaming, eGames is venturing beyond the boundaries of its traditional genres to
tap into another market—that of “mainstream gamers.”

“While eGames has enjoyed success in its traditional,
family-oriented position, a vast opportunity awaits us in the much larger
mainstream gaming market,” said Jerry Klein, President and CEO of eGames.  “This
addition to our core, traditional product line will permit us to tap into the
sizable and lucrative customer base of mainstream gaming.”

The OuterBound Games brand is positioned as a product
line that pushes above and beyond the status quo and sets new boundaries to what
the consumer has come to expect from the value priced gaming market.  It will
utilize the industry’s latest technologies, superior high-end graphics, CD
quality audio, and state of the art game play to present the outer limits of
high-end gaming at a price point that every consumer can afford.

“OuterBound Games will be committed to showing the
gaming community that you do not have to spend $50 to have an enjoyable gaming
experience.” continued Klein.  “This new line of games will span all of the most
popular gaming genres while setting a standard for quality and reliability that
is unsurpassed in the industry at any price.”

OuterBound Games is presently working on agreements
with a variety of game developers, and has several games currently in
development.  The line is scheduled to include titles spanning many popular
gaming genres, including sports, racing, adventure, role-playing and strategy
