E3 2017: Spider-Man on PS4 is coming in 2018; Here’s a lengthy gameplay demo

Hell yes!

Last year, PlayStation revealed that they have a brand new Spider-Man game coming from Insomniac coming exclusively to PlayStation 4. People were blown away not only by the visuals but how the game looked like it would play. Since then, PlayStation and Insomniac have been very quiet but don't worry… we now have all of the details you're craving for.

Spider-Man will release on PlayStation 4 in 2018 and is completely unrelated to the movies meaning this is his own, independent story that will follow him fairly early on in his superhero career. He's not an amateur but he's also not a pro yet.

The game is quite literally Spider-Man if it was a Batman: Arkham game. It features quick combat along with stealth section that allow you to use your environment and stealth to take down enemies. Spider-Man can aim at high points and use his webs like Batman's grappling hook to pull him onto higher objects and ledges.

The game will also feature quick-time events when big events happen like perhaps a giant crane about to fall down on the streets and crush tons of people.

Spider-Man will also traverse better than ever before, he'll vault over objects, run on walls, swing at high speeds and swing on objects to gain speed. This is truly the Spider-Man game we've all been waiting for. Just watch the gameplay demo, it's incredible.

The game also features characters like Miles Morales, Kingpin, and Mr. Negative, more will likely be revealed as time goes on.

Spider-Man releases exclusively on PlayStation 4 in 2018.
