E3 2017: BioWare teases its next game, Anthem

We will be hearing more at Microsoft's presser.

BioWare is embarking upon a new adventure as they have given the world its first official look at the game that has only been known by its codename, Dylan. Now titled, Anthem, the game is said to be an action game with a heavy emphasis on social multiplayer, not unlike that of Bungie’s Destiny. BioWare is confident that their take on the genre space can shake things up and gave us a glimpse at what we can expect from the final game.

Here's the teaser trailer:

Anthem was previously teased all the way back at E3 2014 when BioWare was still teasing details for what they were doing with the next Mass Effect (which ended up being Andromeda). BioWare Edmonton has been developing Anthem for over four years now, and by the looks of things, that time appears to have paid off.

There’s a lot we still don’t know about Anthem, and with its release scheduled for the fiscal year 2019 (between April 2018 – March 2019), there’s still plenty of time for announcements and previews ahead.

Check back tomorrow for more on Anthem.
