Developers have stated that the Wii U is more powerful than the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3. According to an unnamed Japanese developer, Nintendo's upcoming platform may indeed be about as powerful as the Xbox 360, if not more powerful, reports Wii U Daily. Now, what have we learned about rumors, kids? Say it with me: Rumors are never 100 percent certain, so approach this story cautiously.
The rumored Wii U specs are as follows:
The Japanese developer who revealed these specs is supposedly working on porting a PlayStation 3 game to the Wii U, which explains its knowledge of the Wii U's build-up. Nintendo is rumored to be testing out two versions of the Wii U, one which has 768 MB of RAM, and a second with 1 GB.
It's interesting seeing stuff like this pop up. Whether or not these specs are valid remains to be seen, but it's certainly possible. We'll know for sure–hopefully in the coming months–once Nintendo is ready to give us insight on the actual specs of the Wii U.
