Spike Games announced today that Deadliest Warrior, the downloadable game based on their hit show, is now available for the PlayStation 3. The game was previously released on the Xbox 360 and has sold over 225,000 units to date, drastically higher than Spike’s (or anyone’s, really) expectations.
To celebrate the game’s success, new downloadable content has been revealed which will add three new historical combatants determined by popular demand on Spike.com, a new team battle mode, a new medium range taunt for all original characters, and online titles which are determined by the player’s performance in versus matches.
Deadliest Warrior is available for $9.99 on both consoles. Further DLC details are yet to be announced.
