World Championship Changes Game
The
CPL announced today that the CPL World Championship Event scheduled for
December 6-9, 2001 has changed the official tournament game to Counter-Strike.
This will be the largest cash prize for any single game tournament in the
history of computer game competitions. First prize will be $50,000. The CPL
also announced that the new corporate sponsor for this event will be announced
very soon.
