CPL Announces Doom II Tournament At FRAG 4

CPL Announces DOOM II tournament at FRAG 4

The CPL (http://www.thecpl.com) announces a
DOOM II one-on-one tournament to be held at the Razer exhibition booth at FRAG
4. Razer, the maker of the ultra-precise Boomslang Razer mouse, and Compaq, the
largest supplier of computing systems in the world, have joined forces to offer
a classic Doom II one-on-one deathmatch competition at the CPL FRAG 4 event. A
variety of merchandise prizes will be given to the winners courtesy of Razer and
Compaq.

Hardcore gamers over the age of 15, that want to enter this tournament must
first register online for the FRAG 4 event at http://register.thecpl.com.
Once a reference number is obtained then they may proceed to the special
registration site located at http://doom2.thecpl.com
starting on Monday, August 14, 2000 at 4PM Central. The Doom II one-on-one
double-elimination tournament will be limited to 32 participants and will be
held at the Razer exhibition booth on identical Compaq Presario 7900 Series
computers. The tournament will be held at the Hyatt Regency Dallas, commencing
Friday, September 29 at 12PM until 8PM and ending Saturday, September 30, 2000
at 3PM until 5PM central.
