Coders claim ‘Buddy System’ to be included in Pokemon GO’s next update

They're following us!!!

Pokemon GO's upcoming update might not be the update that you are looking for, but it could prove to be a dark horse in the race to evolution.

The game has attracted the attention of almost every large media organisation in the world due to its popularity, but recently it seems like the fans that are playing the game have been left increasingly frustrated by its flaws, and crucially, Niantic's attempts to fix the problems.

However, this upcoming update – if the following information is to be believed – could solve a fundamental frustration that some gamers will have experienced while playing Pokemon GO.

Pokemon GO Hub has today revealed that a brand new 'Buddy System' has been coded into the game and could very well be set live as part of the game's next update. This new feature will allow mobile gamers to select a Pokemon that they would like to walk alongside them, much like the TV show.

Some Pokemon will reportedly walk or fly alongside your avatar, while others will sit on your character's shoulder.

Now, if you're wondering how this change is actually going to be beneficial for you when playing the game, the GO Hub has also reported that the selected Pokemon will be earning Pokemon candies in the process, which should help with evolving Pokemon and ultimately filling up your PokeDex.

After all, we all know what it is like trying to get those 400 Magikarp candies… Anything to help gamers in the candies department will surely be a welcome change!
