Charlie Cox wants Marvel’s Daredevil Netflix show to become a film

Or at least make a cameo in Captain America: Civil War

Earlier this week we found out that Netflix ordered a second season of Marvel's Daredevil, and it's slated to hit the streaming service next year. We know where to find Marvel's Daredevil, it's on Netflix… But what about the big screen? Will Daredevil ever come to theaters?

If the Daredevil star, Charlie Cox, has anything to do with it then yes. Cox recognizes that TV shows are great for showing back story and origin stories. In fact they can be better than movies for that reason. Regardless of that, Cox would like to see Daredevil on the silver screen:

"Usually when you’ve got a two-hour movie it’s action-packed, and so I think that’s one of the things that the show has really benefitted from – having that extra time to really get to know and sit with these characters and see them as humans. But I’d love to see Daredevil on the big screen again. It would be great. And if I could be involved with that I’d be thrilled.”

Where would he like to see Daredevil start off in theaters? A cameo in Captain America: Civil War could be a great start, Daredevil is in the comics afterall.

“Well he’s in the comics, but I think they’re already… I think I might have missed that boat… So unless someone watches the show and falls so madly in love with it that they decide to get me in for a day, that would be great, but I have no idea.”

Hopefully the Russo brothers get the message and direct Cox into Civil War for a short cameo!
