YUJI NAKA CELEBRATES THE 10TH ANNIVERSARY OF SONIC THE HEDGEHOG AT BAY AREA

In celebration of the 10th
anniversary of Sega’s world-famous mascot, Sonic the Hedgehog, Yuji Naka will
make an appearance to sign product and promote the release of the highly
acclaimed Dreamcast game, "Sonic Adventure 2"at San Jose Software Etc.
What better reason to celebrate than
the 10th Anniversary of Sega’s mascot, Sonic the Hedgehog®, and the launch of
"Sonic Adventure 2(tm)," the high-speed whirlwind 3-D adventure based
on the top-selling original Sonic Adventure*" for Dreamcast.
At Software Etc. (Store 812) in San
Jose, "Sonic Adventure 2" developer, Yuji Naka, will be on-site
Saturday, June 30th from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., meeting consumers and signing
autographs. There will be a special appearance by Sonic himself, Sonic giveaways
and a birthday cake in honor of the birthday hedgehog.

Yuji Naka, "Sonic Adventure 2" takes players on a fast action mission
with Sonic and familiar friends, Knuckles and Tails, to foil the plans of the
evil Dr. Robotnik (a.k.a. Eggman) and two mysterious dark characters, Shadow and
Rouge.
With the purchase of Sonic’s new
game, Sonic Adventure 2, consumers will receive a limited edition gold colored
Sonic 10th Anniversary coin, a music compilation CD and a History of Sonic
booklet. Gift with purchase is available at the event through Software Etc. and
at participating retailers while supplies last.
"Sonic Adventure 2" has a
suggested retail price of $39.95 and will be available on Sega.com in addition
to retail stores nationwide. The game is in stores now and is rated
"E" for Everyone.
