The battle royale genre is sure not showing any signs of waning in popularity among gamers. Ever since PUBG and Fortnite took over the gaming world with their unique online mode, countless other games have tried their luck with it to wildly varying degrees of success. To be frank, only a handful of battle royale games actually managed to become a hit. And the fact that many of the most successful ones are absolutely free to play surely doesn’t help newcomers.

With this update, Verdansk will now be able to hold up to 200 players in Battle Royale Quads. That means 50 Quads of Operators fighting each other and the encroaching circle collapse.
This new player count makes Warzone an even bigger Battle Royale experience, so get ready to drop in alongside 199 other members of this millions-strong community to cause havoc!

But who else than Activision’s iconic Call of Duty franchise manages to overthrow the table? Pretty much from the get-go Call of Duty Warzone managed to climb up high in the player ranks, and for good reason. The signature excellent shooting mechanics just go so well with the tense action of the battle royale genre. Add on to it ingenious Gulag mechanic and a plethora of content to unlock, and you have a recipe for greatness.

This is now continuing and even expanding in form of a substantial increase in player count for a match in Call of Duty Warzone. Instead of the already impressive 150 player limit, you’ll be able to duke it out in massive 200 bouts. There’s also the expected usual other additions such as a new weapon.
