2K Games and Gearbox Software have officially announced that Borderlands 2 is in development. The official site went live today, with news that it will launch after April 2012. This comes a day after reports rumors that the game was currently in the works.
Borderlands 2 will be making its debut at Gamescom 2011. For those lucky fans attending PAX Prime, they will also get the treat of seeing the much anticipated title.
The popular RPG-style FPS returns with four all-new characters with new classes and unique skills. You can also expect plenty of new loot as well as new environments.
