WHAT:
Sierra Studios(tm), Massive Entertainment(tm) and WON.net(tm) are
excited to announce the multiplayer beta for Ground Control(tm), the visually
stunning action real-time strategy (RTS) game set to release later this
summer. Of those who register to play Ground Control’s incredible multiplayer
modes, one thousand people will be selected as official beta
testers.
Ground
Control combines classic strategy elements with incredible 3D technology
previously reserved for action games. The end result is greater realism,
faster-paced action, and an unparalleled player experience. Played
out through a variety of missions, players must take control of their customizable
squads of soldiers, tanks, hovercraft, aircraft, and other units, as
they fight for control of a distant world. Ground Control’s multiplayer
modes – including deathmatch style drop-in games,
offer both classic and innovative
multiplayer options.
WHEN:
Sign-up will start on Thursday, April 13th and will close at the end of
Sunday, April 16th by logging on to the official WON.net Ground Control
site.
