Assassins Creed Brotherhood Set to Receive Even More Free DLC

Today sees the release of the Animus Project 1.0 pack for Assassins Creed Brotherhood. This free DLC pack includes a new mode, Advanced Alliance, and a new multiplayer map.

While it could be argued that this content should have been included to begin with, the same cannot be said for the Animus Project 2.0 update coming in January.

Ubisoft confirmed today that the next update will add Chest Capture to multiplayer mode (sounds like an assassin-friendly version of CTF), as well as yet another new multiplayer map. And how much will they be expecting you to fork over for this pack? $0.00 (or 000 MSP on the Xbox 360).

I have to say, I’m impressed. It’s not like Ubisoft needed to convince anyone to buy Brotherhood, so the steady supply of free content is definitely racking up some brownie points. I might even keep my copy a bit longer, as the multiplayer is definitely some of the most unique and fun I’ve experienced in a long while.
