Heavy artillery to go! As of today,
this not-quite-serious motto accompanies the first authentic, round-based Second
World War strategy game for the Nintendo DS™ as it presents itself for
inspection by its waiting fans at
www.panzertactics.com.
In addition to information about the game, screenshots and the current trailer
future armchair generals can get the latest news from the front. The first video
from the title, which is due to be released October of this year, already gives
an excellent view of the exciting mission design, the action-packed combat
sequences and the varied multiplayer modes. With three different playable
factions, a wide range of different troops and intuitive controls “Panzer
Tactics DS” offers a depth of play never before seen in handheld strategy games.

It is the year 1939. The world
stands on the brink of one of the largest military conflicts in history: the
Second World War. The player assumes command of one of the three most powerful
armies of the time: the German Wehrmacht, the Soviet Army or the Allied troops.
For the first time ever in a hand held game, players experience the demanding
strategic aspect of the conflict in three historically-based campaigns.
