Anomaly Warzone Earth XBLA release date announced

Award-winning action-strategy-reverse-tower-defense hit Anomaly Warzone Earth will release on April 6th for Xbox 360.  The team at 11 bit studios announced the release date today, as well as its 800 Microsoft Point price, or roughly $10.  The game is currently available for PC, Mac, and iOS and Android devices.

Anomaly Warzone Earth won the prestigious Apple Design Award and placed Runner-Up for Game of the Year on the Mac App store.

Coming to Xbox 360, Anomaly Warzone Earth packs loads of exclusive XBLA content.

In the game, you are tasked with saving near-future Earth from an alien onslaught.  After capturing the world's major cities and building huge turrets that destroy everything in their path, it's up to you to guide an armored squad through the streets of cities like Baghdad and Tokyo, planning the route and strategically choosing which units to deploy in order to crush the opposition.
