Earlier today, Amazon announced that it will be featuring a special set of video game and gaming-related equipment sales in its countdown to Black Friday, according to independent news organization Huliq.
New video game deals will appear on a daily basis from now until the week of Black Friday, which begins on November 22nd. There are no details on the nature of the deals or how they will be posted, but the online retailer’s daily deals are often found in the Gold Box section. While Amazon has frequently featured gaming deals, eight straight days of video game Gold Box deals would be unprecedented. However, the fact that Amazon has not made the deals public is further evidence to suggest that they will in fact be Gold Box deals, which are normally kept secret.
