Alice: Madness Returns and Achievements Are Revealed

Alice: Madness Returns is the upcoming sequel to 2000’s American McGee’s Alice. The game arrives next month, and to get in the spirit, we have a full list of achievements for the game courtesy of Xbox360Achievements.org. You can view the full list below.

The most interesting achievements are the ones for the original game. The first Alice has been remade for modern consoles and will come packaged as a code download in the game box. That seems to suggest we won’t ever see the original title as a separate XBLA release.

Either way, it’s a compelling package if you love the original (or just wish you did). I hope this becomes a trend because if the upcoming Deus Ex game included the original, people would be flipping out.

Video games became an amazing, artful, interactive story-driven medium for me right around when I played Panzer Dragoon Saga on Sega Saturn. Ever since then, I’ve wanted to be a part of this industry. Somewhere along the line I, possibly foolishly, decided I’d rather write about them than actually make them. So here I am.
