In addition to today's announcement of a 2012 Call of Duty, Activision also detailed the content plan for non-Call of Duty: Elite members. Instead of the normal DLC releases, Activision announced something called the "Modern Warfare 3 Content Collection," available soon on the Xbox Live Marketplace/Playstation Network Marketplace.
The publisher detailed the collection as "a compilation of content previously released to Call of Duty Elite premium members." Thus far three maps have been released for Elite members: Liberation, Overwatch, and Piazza. Many speculate that the collection will also include DLC planned for Elite members for March, which includes another new map and two Spec-Ops missions.
The Modern Warfare 3 Content Collection will be made available for Xbox 360 owners, with a PS3 and PC release to follow. Are you not one of the 7 million Elite members? Plan to pick up this collection if it's reasonably priced? Let us know by commenting below.
