Rockstar ‘working to stabilize’ GTA Online servers

Don't worry GTA 5 players, Rockstar is well aware there are issues with the launch of Grand Theft Auto Online, the highly anticipated multiplayer component of the best-selling game. And they are working to fix them.

"For those trying to get into GTA Online today, please bear w/ us on some day one tech connection issues that we're working to stabilize asap," Rockstar pleaded with fans on Twitter.

Rockstar in the meantime provided a hub page for the GTA Online launch status. It currently serves as a place for fans to go and read up about the various issues plaguing the mode which Rockstar is currently aware of and looking into.

Last week, the studio warned of of technical issues that might arise from the demand of the eagerly awaited mode, and today they posted a similar status. "As mentioned last week, you should expect that there will be some technical teething issues in the early days of a new online experience especially one as massive as GTA Online," Rockstar wrote. It seems the warnings have fallen on deaf ears as gamers are pretty upset with the inability to login to GTA Online's servers. Hey, at least there's a single player portion you can enjoy offline (I'm looking at you Diablo 3 and SimCity).
