Final Boss Guide: Simmons (Giant Insect Form)
Before jumping down to the battlefield, grab some supplies from nearby crates. Once down from the ledge, more supplies can be found on the left and right sides of the battlefield.
Simmons final form has many legs, like a spider. Aim for the glowing yellow areas of his legs to blow them away (if these areas turn black, don’t waste your ammo, as they will be invulnerable). After Simmons’ has a leg blown off, he will look for zombies to absorb to regenerate his limbs. Keep taking down any zombie which doesn’t have a lightning rod jammed through it, and he will eventually eat the one that does, striking him with a bolt of lighting.
After this, grab the lightning rod and jam it through another zombie in his general field of vision. Keep switching between blowing off his limbs and taking out potential zombies he might snack on to make sure he keeps grabbing the ones you’ve stuck with a lightning rod. Once all the legs on one side are blown clean, Simmons will slump to the ground, letting you jam the lightning rod in his eye for the kill.
Afterwards, climb up to where the helicopter is, grab the rocket launcher and fire a shot at his face. Congratulations, you’ve just helped Leon and Helena beat Resident Evil 6’s final boss!
