Mario's Picross and Alleyway are not a "craptastic" games or "abominations", they are perfectly competent puzzle and arcade games, and Lock 'n' Chase in my experience is a perfectly good arcade maze game, and certainly a better choice than the laughable GameBoy version of Pac-Man thats out for the VC.
I won't speak for the others because I never played them, neither on their original cartridge releases, or now on the VC.
Just because a VC game isn't a well known major entry in a first party Nintendo property like Mario or Zelda does not mean the game is bad.
I have and continue to be STRONGLY CRITICAL of the way Nintendo has doled out Virtual Console releases for 3DS thus far and think that by this point the 3DS's VC should have a much stronger library, but putting down good games "craptastic" and "abominations" for their failure to be Wario Land or Zelda is not what strikes me a sensible response.
