Also believe it or not, optimising these pretty games to run on the ancient hardware of the 360 and PS3 costs a lot. We are missing out on a lot of unique gameplay idea's that would only be possible with more processing power.

I don't understand how people are willing to spend $400+ each year or so on a new Smart phone or Tablet but can't spend $400-$600 on a new console that will be relevant for at least 5 years. Times can't be that hard, if they were Apple wouldn't be rolling in all of your cash right now. People are freakin' stupid... We need new consoles now.
