I meant to say with the Gamepad I think they can easily just put the game logo on the screen & call it a day without really utilizing it unfortunately. Otherwise, you should be given a option to use the Pro Controller. Fortunately their will be PLENTY of games supporting the screen. But non-stop action fighting games should probably go this route, and make it where u can play without the use of the TV. No one can look at a controller constantly during a fighting game, that would be horrible. But they can make mini game modes utilizing the Gamepad in some kind of a way in, since it's not the real combat modes.

How about putting the game logo on the screen & call it a day. EASY!!!

How about using the Wii U pro controller in fighting games. Not all games should have to utilize the Gamepad. Nintendo said that the option is up to whatever developers want to do with it. If the fighting games aren't doing then use the pro controller. Their will be plenty of other games that will utilize the Gamepad.

Nintendo will continue to produce great hardware. No matter how much you hate. Big N isn't going anywhere anytime soon. Only the haters actually believe that BS. Nintendo is a multi-billion dollar company and aren't even in any danger, their finances are out the roof, even with the DS price cut losing money. They still have tons of money from the Wii & DS sales. Sony are the ones in trouble financially right now.
