@Tatiana Morris, Another thing would be they'd cause business likes Gamefly and Redbox to go out of business in the process since their major targets are video games, well not so much Redbox but majority of the players I've encountered on both consoles prefer to test the game before playing it, and if they can't test it they never buy it specially since they're forced to go by videos on youtube which don't fully give you the full experience like the TRUE gameplay would.

Personally I think it'd be the stupidest thing ever to block used Games from working in another console that's like going "Hey wanna my game and see if you like it before you buy it and join me on it?" "Sure! *Inserts disc " - No game gets sold from person not interested without trying it first.
