Mike Splechta commented on The Long Dark dev is considering porting the game to Nintendo Switch:
I agree, but I also feel that way about most of the games I play these days, even many which won't ever make it to the system. It's just so convenient being able to pick the system up, play a little bit at a time in handheld mode when I have free time, or really buckle down and play for long stretches of time in docked mode. It's kind of why I'm so pumped for Stardew Valley. That's the kind of game I want to play in short spurts, and don't feel like it warrants me booting up my PC or PS4 just to do that.

Mike Splechta commented on Quick thoughts on Dauntless from a Monster Hunter player:
Yeah, this wasn't meant to be an in-depth look into the game yet since I still need to put in a lot more hours. With that said, it tries its best to emulate everything MH does. That means gathering resources while out on a hunt, collecting specific monster parts to create new pieces of armor or weapons, and even upgrading your current equipment. The graphics are certainly more stylized than say MH's. I don't mind them personally, but if you're not a fan of the more caricatured characters, then you probably won't like the overall aesthetic.
