Mike Splechta commented on PSA: Nioh Beta Demo starts tomorrow, earn your Mark of the Strong DLC:
"He rarely does the sweep if you're in front, usually favoring overhead." If only this was true. I thought this was the case initially, as that's how I originally learned the boss. As I kept getting better against him, he would randomly do the spinning flail move as he was approaching me, on a lot of occasions too, it certainly wasn't a rare case. Him using that move while I'm in front as he's walking up to me is pretty shitty, since you're basically taught to dodge one of three attacks from the front: Left ball, right ball, or slam down of both.

Mike Splechta commented on Review: Homefront The Revolution is a disaster, with great, but poorly executed ideas:
Lucky you, must have gotten that elusive "glitch-less" copy. Congrats. It's like I said in my review, if you read it that is, that I liked what the game was doing, mechanics wise. I'm all about that kind of gameplay. But when a game releases this broken, AFTER a day one patch? Sorry, it's not getting my seal of approval. To be clear, I'm not criticizing the idea of a day one patch, probably something you'd realize if you read my review, I'm criticizing this particular day one patch which seemingly didn't fix anything. Bad at the game? Naw, when the game's framerate dips so low that you can't even aim straight, that's a problem. I have to say I'm humbled that mine is the only review you bothered to check out, since you're seemingly unaware of the bad scores it's getting everywhere else.
