So nobody liked Ni No Kuni?
Naw, that got a ton of love from GZ, but I think its platform exclusivity hindered its reach a bit on this one...

Aright, Shield... at $300 you MIGHT make some sales on this. I think $200's the magic number for something that isn't a console, isn't a phone, isn't a PC, and duplicates a mash-up of those functions... kind of an awkward step-child of the games industry, but I do have to say -- the tech is smooth, the device feels really nice, and if it were pitched to me as "the best things about Wii U, but for Steam," I'd probably listen.

Yeah, even though I'm no fan of DRM, Microsoft buckled too quickly on this one. There are actually compelling reasons to push consoles into the Steam model, and none of that was communicated during this whole mess. Instead, we got "Derp, if you're on a submarine, get a 360!" And here we are, headed into another iterative generation of more-of-the-same-but-prettier.

Oh god, just these screenshots are making me want a playable of this so, so badly.

YES YES YES YES YES YES! Ok, so now I have to go get a Wii U. Finally. Damn.

I kind of love that Nintendo's poached Sonic after all these years. Oddly poetic. Also, I'm REALLY hoping that game kicks ass. Haven't played a great Sonic title in a looooong time, and the nostalgia's starting to kick in.

Daaaayum, big words for a generation that just saw BioShock: Infinite blow the storytelling doors clean off the living room!

The Microsoft one reads like a suicide note.
