I'm glad that you're correctly pointing out that this "hate the rival more than you love yourself" attitude is primarily driven by Sony fans. They...
"You and your unwashed, mouth breathing ilk have managed to keep us back in the stone age for at least one more generation." Your such a stupid individual, when ANY company tries to do an end run around the first sale doctrine to increase profits it is NOT some sort of innovation or future thinking...it's greed and only a pompous, smug idiot would think it is a good idea. What brain dead fool would would see this message: "from now on the games that you buy for full price have no value beyond your purchase, the old archaic days of owning what you buy is over, you only own it for as long as we say you own it. reselling what you own will no longer be tolerated." This is the Sad, pathetic utopian future you are looking forward to, ALEX15? I apologise, maybe you are just young...or stupid...or just stupid. but, giving up your rights for some so-called convienience and misguided thought that "ownership" is somehow an antiquated luddite view is absurd to the extreme. only a glassy-eyed, kool-aid drinking fool, perhaps lacking in either opposable thumbs and/or has been subjected to a lobotmy would think that this is some sort of progressive future. Sir, I hope that you get what you deserve.

I don't see it that way, I think that MS made evice with policies that would have ruined gaming as it is and killed consumer ownership rights. Just because they changed everything because of the bad PR and really poor preorders doesn't abscond them from what they attempted. Personally, I do not "hate" anyone for wanting to buy an Xbox1 or anything else for that matter. But, I am a little confused about why someone would take a chance with a company that stated that their "vison" has not really changed, rather, it has been delayed. MS is NOT a company to be trusted, in their 30+ years of existance they have proven to care more about being a bully with their monopoly status to gain profit rather than competing on a level playing field with customer friendly options and features in their product line up. I really get tired of all these MS supporters complaining about why noone will just "forget" all the terrible things MS was trying to do, but, changed at the eleventh hour. You don't befriend a psycho killer because he decided not killing you was in his best interest at the time.
