The main problem with fable 3, really, was that it seemed a bit 'Disney'. It was like a child's game... Despite the fact that it was blatantly not for children. It seems to me like the third game was experimenting with new ideas and tech but they realized that was a bad idea after the criticism and moved their 'experimenting' onto a different series (The Journey). I don't think Fable three was a completely bad game, there is definitely enough to enjoy, it was just a let down because it wasn't what people were expecting. Personally I think that games should have that kind of sketchiness that the second and more so, the first, have; It gives them character and makes them stand out. That being said - I'm looking forward to seeing what Lionhead can do with the fourth :)
