What happens when you take your 1000 friend gamertag back to the 360, which you'll want to do often because the ONE isn't backwards compatible?

Super bummed about backwards compatibility. I became a working adult at the start of the 360's lifespan and as a result over these years my library of games has become astronomical. It got to the point where I stopped keeping my games in boxes and just started buying binders. I'm an avid supporter of the Xbox Indie Games channel as well as XBLA, so I have hundreds of downloaded games. I don't really trade in games either because I always like the option to go back to them...but how long will I have that option now? Microsoft says they'll support the 360 for years to come but when the switch is finally turned off I can't help but worry about how my game library will be effected.

About Joe Donato: Video games became an amazing, artful, interactive story-driven medium for me right around when I played Panzer Dragoon Saga on Sega Saturn.
