Is the game only 4-player? That seems limited, as many potential owners probably don't own more than 2 controllers?

So nobody liked Ni No Kuni?
I tried to love Ni No Kuni, but the open elements were to repetitive and empty, combat was pretty shallow/dull. There was a great game somewhere in there but I think it missed the mark by a long way. It was also jarring in the way some parts were quite complex, but other parts were full of tedious hand-holding.

I think you're completely wrong on this one. If the many people I know who love Uncharted are anything to go by, we definitely want the same, big Indiana Jones adventure that Drake has been bringing so far. If anything I think too many games are becoming open when it isn't necessary. Whilst those experiences can be awesome, I think it is pretty clear there is still a big market for directed experiences in gaming.

I really hate online multiplayer. The only time I come close to having it as part of my gaming experience is occasionally being briefly invaded playing Dark Souls (aside from ghosts and messages of course). I think it is a real shame that otherwise fun looking games are pushing an MMO-esque style.

I seriously loved this game, and have played it through a few times and certainly will again. It seems like the devs got stuck on the need to create a all out action adventure, and never quite had the guts to slow it down for too long. There is a long scene where Lara looses her father figure, but that character developing should of been done at the beginning. The game throws you in and only occasionally tries to remind you why Lara cares about any of the characters she's with. I think the same goes for extended tomb crawling. Hopefully with the great reception the game received along with the many pleas for more tombs, SE will be brave enough to put some good old tomb raiding in tomb raider. Excited for the next game, and can I please have a NG+?

People generally seem to be against 'tacked on' multiplayer because they're under the impression that it is money that could of been spent on the campaign. From what I know the MP usually comes from funds which would not have been made available for the single player mode. Personally, I don't care about MP, it isn't the way I want to spend my experience with a game. A side note; I really hope that The Division is a fully fleshed solo experience, because the concept looks awesome, I just don't want to play with other people.

Commentators like the AnnoyedGamer really irk me. So often other gamers tell me that if I don't like it I shouldn't listen to it, and that he's just being honest. I call BS on that. Outspoken people such as him not only are an important part of the gaming community discourse, they also set the standard by which consumers will direct themselves. I've not read anything he has said in all his 'honesty' that could not of been said without being abusive.
