I'm oddly entranced by these Hyperdimension games. The gameplay is pretty generic, I'm just a sucker for the concept.

commented on SimCity debug mode allows for offline gameplay, and here's video proof
Just like people have done with Starcraft 2, it was only a matter of time to get SimCity running in offline mode. We all knew it was possible, it just took someone smart to get around it. Honestly, having both options would have saved EA and Maxis the trouble to begin with. Offering people to play offline while they worked on the servers to allow online play would have probably prevented a lot of headaches to both EA and the consumers. Not to mention their servers might have not been overloaded if that option was available from the get go.
