Nvidia sells graphics cards! they leave the gameplay to developers. Game engines also show off visual capabilities .

If you dont care of visuals than simply continue playing games like cod , and other games with 7 year old engines, games with great gameplay but visuals are the same.

Most games today are direct x 9 console ports, next year they will be direct x 11 console ports with added features and visuals, and who knows by then maxwell gpu will be out as well as 4k resolution will start rolling out as well.
