Where was all this optimism with 3ds?

If the vita continues on this course it wont be around next year if its sales continue to be on the closer...
Well, I can't speak for anyone else, but I've supported the 3DS since day one, and I really don't recall ever saying anything negative about it, with the exception of that whole add-on circle pad nonsense, which was just insanely ridiculous. I did love poking fun at that.

For the record, I was very optimistic with the 3DS. And when IGN was posting stupid articles about how the 3DS would fail just like the Virtual Boy, I was still supporting Nintendo's handheld.

Of course its not dead

with titles like mario galaxy rachet and clank, castlevania on the ps3 ( a platformer)

its about as strong as its been
Oh, gotcha. Yeah, during the N64/PS1 era, 3D platformers blew up. But now it seems as though 2D platformers have once again taken over the genre. And that's not a bad thing. I love games like Rayman Origins and Donkey Kong Country Returns. But I still miss the (very) slightly open world/huge scope experiences like Mario 64 and Banjo Kazooie.

Reminds me of my post from yesterday when the press release was first sent out. Probably because, oh I don't know, it's the exact same thing! Just for that, Five Stages of Hell.
