after watching the E3 gameplay the game doesn't look as fun as super smash. the idea of how you get points is pretty lame. you get random energy from doing damage then use a super move on enemies hopefully killing as many as possible.
its like the stupid smash ball thing in brawl.

honestly, there are 3 real reasons.
1, quality. face it. Gears of war is better then most sony exclusives combined. Uncharted resistance and infamous combined? Still rather play gears. xbox exclusives are top notch and fun to play a lot. Most of sony's big name exclusives are fun for a bit but get boring.
2. Japan, Japan is the market xbox never really touched, but PS3 has a strong foot hold. the problem is most of the exclusives for PS3 are meant for the western audience. the biggest gaming markets for games like uncharted or killzone would be the USA, but in the USA xbox is king. ( this is changing but that is another topic)
3, more exclusives more choices, competeing for my dollar.
with so many exclusives on PS3 you have to be picky. Do I want little big planet karting? or do I want the new ratchet and clank? or maybe playstation all stars? can't decide.
on xbox your fight is between multiplatform titles, and usually its only 1-2 exclusives a year coming out, this year is halo 4 and fable the journey? which might not even be $60. the only arcade title that sounds good is tony hawk HD, which isn't even exclusive.

no on everything but halo.
this gen was a gen of multiplatform and mediocrity.
in no order
halo
COD
battlefield
elderscrolls
gears of war.
all shaped and impacted the generation... assassins creed was just another title. mario galaxy didn't do much it was just a good wii game. uncharted did nothing but show off graphics.
Gears redefined a TPS experience, halo and COD revolutionized FPS. Elder scrolls(skyrim and oblivion) is the best RPG series this gen and continues to show gamers what a good RPG is, and battlefield pushed the console graphics and physics envelope.
Curtis Isabell
well PC mouse and keyboard is a joke to play on, a 3 year old can do it... guess it's a good thing.
Curtis Isabell
i get it.
Like uncharted, mass effect is over rated.
unlike uncharted though, mass effect would be a great game if it lasted longer. its like your paying full price for half a game.
uncharted would be great if it was actually fun to play, instead of platform for 10 minutes, shoot for 10 minutes, rinse repeat. half way through uncharted 2 GOTY edition i sold it, B-O-R-I-N-G.
bioware
next time you make a game, triple the size OR make all the DLC free, if not your a waste.

though the 360 is vastly superior to the PS3, and the VITA will flop. Microsoft will probably be the first to go, because they have abandoned their majority market.
If nintendo ever lost japan it would be dead.
sony sucks, but when nextbox has nothing but crap kinect shovel ware and PS4 shows anything else gamers will leave the xbox.
elias the PS3 has been a down right failure. other then the RROD issues which are still over exaggerated the 360 has been great. their only issue at this moment is the complete lack of exclusives.
all microsoft has to do next gen to solidify its place is
A. have exclusives that people care about
B. make gold membership a better deal then PSN+, PSN+ is the best online market dollar for content. too bad their online service sucks though.

they released a study the proved violent video games don't cause violence in people.
Politics would be bad ass and people would care if the people in politics weren't complete morons.

Homeworld RPG.
homeworld 3rd person flight/rts hybrid

i wish mass effect was open world and lasted longer then 5 hours. those are my only real complaints about the game. make it bigger, make it longer, i trust bioware to make the story and the characters lovable.
