I have both the PS4 and Xbox One and I can say both are missing features but the PS4 does seem more limited functionality-wise. Some things are just baffling like the ability to turn off the controller being hidden in a sub-menu rather than the main menu, not being able to turn off the LED light to conserve battery, not being able to pause downloads, etc. Xbox is missing stuff too like storage management but it is unlikely to be an issue until later. Both will eventually improve via software updates but right now the Xbox is more fully featured.

I don't care about any of that crap. The number one reason why I won't be buying it is the gimped weak ass hardware. The first Xbox was a power...
Stephanie Cote, Do you understand that there is a difference between DDR3 and GDDR5? They are two entirely different formats of memory. It isn't like GDDR5 is a newer version of the other. GDDR is a memory format that is good for storing visually rendered data and has a higher bandwidth but is slow for general tasks. DDR memory has lower latency and is quicker for general tasks but has a lower overall bandwidth. The core count isn't an equivalent breakdown either. It isn't like because it has 50% more cores that it is 50% faster. In PC's this breakdown would be about a 20% differential at best. I've pre-ordered both consoles so I'm not sure why everyone is so defensive. I just don't think any of you are being fair in your estimations of this which is why I've been posting. It is clear to me now that all of you are just trying to defend your console of choice as you are only buying one of them. Feel free to think however you like but I actually know what these specs mean and I'm not talking out of my butt.

I didn't say some online jackass told me that they were closer in power than the previous generation. DEVELOPERS said it in many interviews. I could careless what uneducated people such as yourselves are saying about it. If you aren't a developer I couldn't care less. Power really doesn't matter to me in a console anyway. I have an i7 Haswell PC with dual GTX 780's. My PC is way more powerful than either console so that argument doesn't mean anything to me to begin with.

Where are you getting your information from? Developers have stated that the power difference between the ps4 and Xbox one are closer than they were between ps3 and 360. Besides Microsoft invested in the cloud processing to boost the performance which Sony hasn't done.

Well said. I couldn't agree more. From what I hear the new project titled "Crawler" was going to be very innovative. Darksiders was not innovative as much as it was just designed well and was fun to play. I liked the Zelda play style but never cared for the child like story lines or setting. Darksiders gave me the gameplay I was looking for in a more mature manner. It is sad that companies like this close down while companies that produce annual games like Madden or Call of Duty prosper.
