atilaa commented on Bethesda brings Fallout 4 and DOTA 2 together with new pre-order bonus:
no, he is a mass manufactured servant robot made by RobCo. the differences is that he didn't malfunction in the same way as many other Mister Handy robots did, that doesn't make him unique enough to be called 'similar to the Mister Handy type robot'. he is as unique as Andy in Vault 101 or the Mister Handy doctors in Fallout 3, which means he is not special at all. and if it is his personality that sets him apart then it can be argued that every robot in the wasteland is unique in some way, and if everyone is unique then nobody is. and besides, science shows that there only is a few different personality types, which means that Codsworth can't be that unique, maybe special or rare but not unique. even if his personality makes him unique you have to remember that he was programmed by someone and it is likely that the same program was put in to many Mister Handy robots. even if Codsworth is the only "living" Mister Handy with his program he still has a program that exists somewhere in him that can be put in to other robots of his type. i get you point, i just don't agree with it. and i'm probably taking this way to seriously :p

"Mister Handy, he's one of the three-armed floating robots similar to Codsworth" a Mister Handy isn't similar to Codsworth, they are the same. Codswroth is a Mister Handy, the only difference is that Codsworth has a name and a personality while the other Mister Handy robots don't, or at least they don't have the same friendly personality. otherwise they are the same mass manufactured RobCo Industries robot. yes, i had to correct this slight factual mistake, i couldn't help myself.

atilaa commented on Bethesda's Pete Hines spills the details on why Fallout 4 is so bright:
"The one thing that is hard to decipher in text is sarcasm or intensity of a word." that is very true! to be honest, i was mostly semi-trolling when i was try-harding with my response since i wasn't sure if you were serious or not. when i responded to you i was also very bored and remembered my philosophy classes which taught me to break down arguments, so i decided to use it :p. but you could compare an orange with a television if you want to find out if a certain tv can show a real looking orange ;). and i do enjoy finding faults online and correcting them, even if the correction only is applicable in a theoretical space, it is a bit of a problem i have and it might also explain why i don't have many friends. i guess you also enjoy correcting people online since you jumped on my somewhat far fetched example of when change is bad. an other example of bad change might be Windows 8. any how, i guess we are somewhat done here. have a good one!

might have been a bit harsh with "all time low" but not getting hyped for Michael Ironside and a possible Splinter Cell reference is really close to an all time low

sorry for taking a while to respond. that is almost exactly why i don't like game that have no single player in them. i have a limited budget for games so when i look at games to buy i look at what makes them different from other games in the same genre, and Battlefront doesn't have anything besides the Star Wars name to make it different, which is disappointing. i mean, you get tired of killing on the same maps over and over again and you want a break to get an epic story. Halo wouldn't have been the same without the story, with this trend with more and more games being without story it could unfortunately become more and more rare that we get all these epic sagas to play all by our selves. and yes, the new Battlefront is basically like a Battlefield with a Star Wars skin, i played it a fair bit and had fun but i'd rather buy a Battlefield than a Battlefront.

to be honest, this felt more like a summary of the episode than a review. i'm a bit disappointed and this would spoil the episode way more than a review would in case the reader haven't seen the episode before reading. and the fact that the writer don't put down more excitement and hype around the fact that Michael Ironside is in the episode AND that he meets a character called Sam really disappointing and a new all time low for GZ. hope you do better next week.

atilaa commented on Ubisoft's mysterious game is 'Far Cry Primal':
to me this feel more like a first person Uncharted or Tomb Raider more than the types of Far Cry games we are used to. many people were skeptical towards Mirrors Edge at first but it became a hit so i don't see why this will have any trouble, and many of those who i know wants to try something new and not the same style of fps games all the time. i think this will be a bit of fresh air for the fps genre, hopefully it will show that you don't need to make a game with tons of guns just because you play it in first person.

well, he said "change is a good thing" and then i gave an example of when change is not a good thing. the same can go when a food product gets a new recipe so it costs less to produce but the quality and taste gets worse, that change is also bad. all it takes to break the thesis "change is a good thing" is one example of when change is a bad thing. yes, you can still compare a new leveling system to other systems (new and old) because it is based on older leveling systems, it would be like saying "you can't compare Windows 7 to Windows 10 because it is a new operating system". to compare a new thing to the older version or other things based on the same concept is perfectly acceptable, nothing weird about it. so do you not compare ie. a new iPhone to an older iPhone, or compare it with a phone with similar functions but completely different OS just because it is new and therefore, by your logic, can't be compared? and why shouldn't we compare the video games of today to the 8-bit Nintendo games? what did those games do better than what ever game we choose to compare it with? what could developers today learn from the old 8-bit games? see, comparing new things to older things is not ridicules, it is a way to learn and improve. but looking at your view on comparing new things to old stuff i bet that you also are one of those we don't care about history and thinks that we can't learn from it. "Ok and if the new leveling system is actually a new system then there is no comparison....because it is new." -Prometheus Antares 2015-10-08. when we boil down that argument basically says "you can't compare liberalism to socialism" or "you can't compare horse drawn carriages and cars" for reasons like "because one is newer and therefore you can't compare it to anything else because it is new". that is basic circular reasoning, a classic logical fallacy used in argumentation, try and avoid that next time. and for the "stop complaining" part, this is the internet, the place where people complain loudly about things. get over it or get out, m8.

it is great to see that i have to same opinion as those who gets paid to have opinions! but for how long do you think that is a pure multiplayer shooter will stay fresh? i mean, if they hold up and age like LoL or DotA then they wouldn't need to make a new CoD and such every year. yea, you might have fun for 10 hours but after that you have done everything, all that's left is the never ending grind for gear, for how long will a game like that live? Titanfall seems rather dead now and they had the same concept as Battlefront. from what is presented now, do you think that Battlefront will manage to get guys like you and me who enjoys single player experiences to have as much fun as we would do with a CoD, Halo or Battlefield?

good, in reference to leveling systems in other Bethesda games and other RPGs, was it really THAT hard to figure out? and change is not always a good things, millions died in China when Mao wanted change.
