Top 10 Western Games
If there is one genre that hasn’t gotten its just due in videogames, it’s the Western genre. While World War II has been done to death and space has been explored extensively, there just haven’t been enough games set in the Wild West. Luckily, there are a few solid ones out there for would-be frontiersmen, and here are a few of my favorites:

 

Oddworld Stranger's Wrath
While not technically a western, this Oddworld title is a great shooter set in a weird and quirky universe filled with personality.
The Oregon Trail
  • The Oregon Trail
Sure, it sucked when your wagon would break and half your party would drown, but who didn’t love hunting in the woods?
Mad Dog McCree
A game that is more fun for its cheesy production values than its lightgun gameplay, Mad Dog McCree is a great throwback to the full-motion video era.
