As the console seems to be singing its Swan Song, it seems appropriate to remember the PS2 as having one of the greatest game libraries in the history of the industry. This rings especially true for the Role Playing genre, so here’s a look at some of the finest the genre has to offer PS2 owners:

 

Shin Megami Tensei: Digital Devil Saga
A strange and controversial RPG, Digital Devil Saga was definitely weird, but also a blast to play through.
Final Fantasy X
The first Final Fantasy game to hit the PS2, X broke new ground for the series, thanks to polished gameplay and a great story.
Rogue Galaxy
An often overlooked RPG from the system’s twilight, Rogue Galaxy combines some awesome, action-packed combat with deep RPG features for an epic journey.

My personal fav is Kingdom Hearts.. I love playing this game. I can't think of anything bad to say about it.

Baldures Gate: Dark Alliance...great..double the fun with 2 player co op mode.
