Top 10 Games of E3 2009 (Afterthoughts)
For us journalists, E3 is a bittersweet event, filled with sleepless nights, early mornings, and tons of walking through the hallowed halls of the LA Convention Center. Fortunately, we get to look at some truly awesome games. So this year’s E3 has come and gone, and hot on the heels of my previous Top 10 anticipated games for the show, I take a look at the Top 10 games that really dazzled me at this year’s event:

 

Brutal Legend
Double Fine’s upcoming action platformer is getting better and better as time goes on, and the awesome gameplay and faithfulness to 80’s metal fandom should have it poised to be one of the year’s best.
Batman: Arkham Asylum
With deep and engaging gameplay and a great story, this could be the game to finally due the Caped Crusader justice.
Halo 3: ODST
Taking a sandbox approach for their next Halo title is a risky move, but the parts that I saw from Halo 3: ODST look fantastic.
