However, while the popularity of the adventure genre has waned, the tradition of mixing gaming with comedy has continued. Here’s a look at some of the funniest games to hit in the past few years:

 

Wanted: Weapons of Fate
While most games released almost half a year after their film counterparts tend to be disappointing, initial screens and video of GRiN’s Wanted game look pretty awesome and fun.
Batman: Arkham Asylum
The first Batman game in years to show some actual promise, Arkham Asylum looks to be a dark and exciting action game set in a serious house on serious earth.
Halo 3: ODST
The upcoming stand-alone expansion to the events in Halo 3, ODST puts you in the shoes of a different solider, but promises to have the same awesome brand of gameplay that made its predecessors instant classics.
