Max Payne 3 Launching in March 2012

Hey, Rockstar Games, I have a question for ya! Instead of publishing games for developers who end up leaving their employees off a game’s credits and eventually go bust, why don’t you focus your efforts on your own internal properties? Look, we all loved L.A. Noire, but before there were detectives solving crimes in 1940s environments, there was a man on a mission of revenge.

For years, fans of the Max Payne series have hoped for the third entry in the franchise. And for years, we’ve had to wait … and wait some more. I want my Max Payne 3! And I know I’m not the only one who desperately wants to get his hands on the brooding protagonist’s next mission for redemption.

And another thing … Wait, what? You say Max Payne 3 is launching sometime in March 2012? You’re not just messing around with me here, are you? Rockstar, do you actually mean that?

Well, since it’s coming straight from you, the publisher and developer of Max Payne 3, I guess I’ll believe you. I have to say, though, I kind of wish you were giving me an exact date. But I guess a launch window will do. Max Payne 3 in March 2012? Damn right we’re looking forward to it!

What’s that? You have more information on the game? It’s going to have a multiplayer component? Hmm … I guess that’s pretty cool. Anything else you want me to know so I can tell the readers? Oh, OK, I’ll definitely let them know that the first game in the series is being ported to mobile devices with snazzy graphics and Rockstar Social Club connectivity.
