League of Legends is Russia bound

Mother Russia will be receiving localized service and support for Riot Games’ League of Legends.  This MOBA game is growing constantly with over 11.5 million active players worldwide.  With Russia added to that list, this strategy game will only expand further.

Is Dublin, Ireland, earlier today announced that they will their multiplayer battle arenas to Russian speaking players, dedicate server support, and add a new website. 

The official press release stated:

We’ve listened carefully to the rising volume of voices asking for League of Legends in Russia,” said Brandon Beck, co-founder and CEO of Riot Games. “We are looking forward to delivering fully localized service and support, and we are optimistic that the passionate community of Russian speaking PC gamers will embrace League of Legends.
