Microsoft announces Joy Ride Turbo

Microsoft has announced Joy Ride Turbo, the Kinect-less sequel to the peripheral's 2010 launch title Kinect Joy Ride.

The game will retain the lighthearted tone and casual racing of the previous version despite the switch to standard controls. Microsoft confirmed the game will release exclusively on XBLA but did not comment on whether optional Kinect support was a possibility.

The Vancouver-based studio BigPark, as owned by Microsoft, is resuming development duties.
