Top 5 Hardest PS3 Trophies

#3 – WipEout HD – Beat Zico:

For this trophy, players will have to “Equal or beat the lap time of 30.82 seconds on Anulpha Pass (Forward), Speed Lap, Venom using the Piranha”. You’ll have to perfect every corner, boost, as well as literally everything else pertaining to the track regarding its layout to beat Zico’s time.

Personally, I spent a good few hours trying to acquire the trophy. You may believe that once you know the ins and outs of the track you’ll know exactly what to do. That’s never the case, though: there’ll almost always be something that slows you down that one extra second.

#2 – Super Stardust HD – Late Boomer:

Late Boomer requires players to collect 15 bombs. If you’re put off by a challenge, don’t even contemplate trying to attain Super Stardust HD’s Late Boomer trophy. Players will have to dodge all the objects and obstacles during gameplay while using their bombs to collect the bombs itself.

It’s a matter of successfully carrying out the ‘one step forward, two steps back’ mantra enough to retrieve the required quantity of bombs. The difficulty, meanwhile, is certainly exemplified after the collection of a few bombs.

#1 – Killzone 2 – Heroic Survivor:

Heroic Survivor requires players to complete Killzone 2 on Elite difficulty. Throughout the game, in any level you encounter enemies, take a few shots and you’ll be dead. That said, if you’re dedicated then you’re more than likely to master exactly what to do in order to progress.

However, there is one level that comes to mind that will take, for many, hundreds of attempts to complete: Autarch’s Sanctum sees partner Rico not being much of a help, consequently leaving the army of enemies’ unforgiving difficulty being solely imposed on just the player.

Let us know what Trophies you had a hard time attaining, that ultimately felt satisfying once you finally did.

All PlayStation 3 games now released include trophy support, as well as the more popular older titles having trophies integrated as well. While many of the aforementioned titles feature trophies that can be achieved with almost no skills, certain titles, inevitably, are notorious for their painstakingly difficult trophies. We take a look at the top 5 hardest PS3 trophies to acquire.

#5 – Call of Duty: World at War – Hardened War Hero:

Players have to complete the game on either the Hardened or Veteran difficulty to attain this trophy. Either difficulty for Call of Duty: World at War will undoubtedly see one die well over a hundred times throughout their playthrough – at least it did for me, anyway.

The AI has been designed in a way within the hardened and veteran difficulty levels to throw grenades with near-perfect accuracy; if one goes off anywhere near you, you’ll be dead. This trophy isn’t for the faint hearted; prepare for several damaged controllers at the very least.

#4 – Rock Band 2 – The Bladder of Steel Award:

This trophy requires players to complete the Endless Setlist 2 without pausing or failing. One thing’s clear about this task: there are not as many intimidating trophies with the play-time and perfection this trophy for Rock Band 2 features.

If you want to try your luck for this trophy, you’ll have to complete an accumulative of 84 songs. Granted, you can play it under any difficulty; however, trying to achieve the aforementioned trophy without pausing at any stage or failing can be a daunting task.
