Call of Duty: Black Ops Gets Some Big Name Hollywood Talent

Activision and Treyarch have revealed some high-profile film talent that will be featured in their upcoming shooter, Call of Duty: Black Ops. Joining the game’s voice cast are Gary Oldman, (“The Dark Knight”, “The Book of Eli”, “Bram Stoker’s Dracula”) and Ed Harris (“A History of Violence”, “Apollo 13”, “Pollock”). Additionally, screenwriter/director David S. Goyer has come on board to for script consultation and story development.

“Oldman, Harris and Goyer are considered some of Hollywood’s finest talents and they perfectly complement Call of Duty: Black Ops’ ambitious and immersive single player experience,” says Mark Lamia, Studio Head of Treyarch. “Their contributions have helped us to push the boundaries of our story telling and character development far beyond anything we have ever attempted before in the franchise.”

Call of Duty: Black Ops is rated M for Mature, and will be available for Xbox 360, Playstation 3, and PC on November 9.
