Black Knight Sword from Suda51 and Digital Reality brings style and gore to XBLA on Dec. 12

It seems that Grasshopper Manufacture and Digital Reality like working together. After the awesome Sine Mora, can you blame the two teams for wanting to create some more magic together? Black Knight Sword is the next project the two studios will be releasing and it's due out on Xbox Live Arcade on December 12.

As is usually the case with titles that have Suda51's name on them, this action game appears to have a ton of style. The whole thing seems to be inspired by theatrical performances (because red curtains), but there's a nice collage cutout appearance prevalent throughout.

Taking on composer duties is the famed Akira Yamaoko, who's known largely for his work on Silent Hill, Shadows of the Damned, and most recently the aforementioned Sine Mora. In other words, a lot of people are probably going to be stoked for the game's soundtrack alone.

If you've been a fan of Suda51's work or really dug the previous joint venture between Grasshopper and Digital Reality, it goes without saying that you should keep an eye on Black Knight Sword. No word yet on the PlayStation Network release, but Xbox 360 owners can expect it on the Marketplace next week.
