BF3 update 1.03 fixes VoIP issues

As promised a few weeks ago, DICE has finally fixed the VoIP issues plaguing Battlefield 3 players on the PlayStation 3.
Today's Battlefield 3 patch 1.03 seems to be focused solely on fixing the voice chat problems. According to MP1st, the 11MB patch you will download isn't the much anticipated and presumably larger February patch that will address several bugs and exploits.
Many fans have been reporting problems playing with friends. Battlefield 3 is reportedly kicking you or your teammate to the opposing team, even if you are in the same squad in menus. Other problems and things to be addressed in the upcoming patch include problems joining a game as a squad, fall damage, and adding horn sounds.
