Letter from the Editor

Well, we’ve been working on this for a few weeks now, but it’s finally done. We finally have a working hub page that will bring together all of AMN’s video game coverage (as well as Anime, Movie and Tech coverage).

It’s no secret that we started as a GameCube site. Even though we’ve added several different channels that cover other consoles, we’ve always felt sort divided. We’ve had a front page for a while now, but it was nothing but a list of links to our many different sections and channels. It didn’t quite do what we wanted.

Our new main page does everything we want, however, and I think you’ll find it is the ideal destination for everything Advanced Media Network. I highly encourage that when you visit our site, you swing by http://advancedmn.com first, as we promise it will be kept the most up to date of any of our sections, and you’ll find everything you care about on it.

In addition to our newly launched hub page, you’ll notice we’ve updated our look a bit. Replacing the old feature images at the top of each channel, there is one 16×9 feature image, along with space for six top story headlines. With this, we’ll be able to spotlight our best features and biggest news stories of the day, and you’ll be able to find what you care about faster. Plus, it looks cooler, which is only a good thing. The new top story space should be added to all channels by the end of the day (some might be lacking the update at the time you’re reading this, but I assure you our tech team is working hard to get it all up and running).

In closing, I want all of our readers to know that we plan for 2007 to be a big year for us. We have some big plans that will begin to start rolling out in some form throughout this year. I can’t give dates, but rest assured, a new hub page is absolutely nothing in comparison to what we’re planning on doing next.

Enjoy the new hub page!
