This week was a HUGE week here at Kombo. We launched the beta of our new website – yes, it’s in Beta, so if you see something weird going on, we are working on fixing it. All of it. And that has consumed a ton of our time, but it hasn’t stopped us from reporting on the news. So what can you find in our new website?
First and foremost, it looks nicer. We have nice, big images gracing your screen, and we’ve got a great new color scheme that really catches the eye. Heck, next time you’re checking out Kombo at Starbucks or the airport or wherever you may be, you might just find people asking you what superior gaming site you’re looking at. In this case, it’s okay to brag. “It’s Kombo,” you can say, “and it’s SO much better than anything else out there.”
Beyond that, things are simplified. Our RSS feed is big, you just can’t miss it. Likewise, we have great links to our Facebook page – admit it, you spend time on Facebook and now you can get Kombo updates on there, which will make your friends envious. Then, we’ve got great links to the forums, and (this one’s really cool) you can sort stories by “Most Discussed” and “Most Popular”, allowing you to find the really good stuff right away.
Of course, if you’re one of those people who only checks in on the weekends to get caught up, well, that’s why we have the Weekly Update. It’s perhaps the hottest portion of the site. Check out the full list of breaking news from the week below, and don’t forget, this isn’t just news, it’s editorial, it’s opinion, it’s hot.
So man up, read through the list, and get caught up. Gaming news moves fast, but we’ve got you covered.
And if you want to, let us know what you think of the new and much improved Kombo 3.0!
